The Contractor's Process
Discovery
What is the project? Usually a short meeting about what the Owner wants to accomplish. If damage is involved, consider/review that process.
Agreement
Document the scope of the project, terms and conditions of workmanship, payments & warranties. Begin any claim process required from damage events.
Execution / Installation
Review what the property will be and feel like during actual construction days, and execute the work. Punch list.
Payment
Issue final invoice, collect payment(s), issue invoice payed in full notice once payments clear.
Warranties
File warranties and notify Owner.

Physically walking the job. Discuss issues which came up. General clean up.
Payment & Warranties
Final payment issued to Contractor. Notification warranties are filed. Reviews and testimonials, or referrals.
